Going from working in a corporate office to writing from home was a big adjustment for Lisa, and while she absolutely loves what she does, she quickly realized that the one thing she misses is the daily interaction with friends and co-workers that the office atmosphere provides. Now please don't take this as a complaint, but rather encouragement to go ahead and email Lisa. She loves receiving notes and reads everything that comes to her. She does her very best to answer everybody. She can get behind at times, especially when she is on tour or on deadline for her book, so if you have written Lisa and did not receive a reply, please don't give up on her. Just drop her another note, and she promises to write back as soon as possible.

About Dirty Blonde
"I have been a fan and an avid reader of your books for years and Dirty Blonde is one of your best. I could not put it down. The mystery and intrigue of the plot was infectuous and I loved that Cate had "the balls" to stand up for her convictions and get to the truth. I cannot wait for your next page turner!!!!!" L.B.
"I finished Dirty Blonde. I enjoyed the detail you lend to your character development. The plot was very interesting, as well. Great Job!"

H.W.
"When I first read that your latest novel, Dirty Blonde would not feature Rosato&Asso. I was very disappointed. i love the ladies of that firm. But here I am 2 days after getting Dirty Blonde so sorry I am done. Well worth the sleep it cost me.Thank you."
N.C.
"Just finished reading Dirty Blonde — after reaching chapter 12 — I could NOT put this book down — I was up to 3 AM to finish reading."
T.R.
"Lisa, just finished your latest book. I thought your other books were good but this one was just great. Once you start reading you don't want to lay it down, and when you get to the end you are sad there are no more pages to turn."
M.W.
About Devil's Corner
I just got your new book, Devil's Corner, today, and I am so excited about it. I had to let you know that you are a wonderfully talented author, and I enjoy reading every one of your novels. The new character of Vicki Allegretti is great! I was on the edge of my seat with the book, but I had to stop to let you know how much I enjoy it. You have out-done yourself again. S.G.
"First Time reader and really enjoyed it. Liked the way you kept me wanting to keep reading." H.K.
"Once I started reading this book, I found it difficult to put down and get my work done. I read it in 2&1/2 days. Excellent. Devil's Corner would make a really good movie. Thanks for the great read, and I am looking forward to the next book." L.W.
"I just finished Devil's Corner and had a hard time putting it down until I was done. I lost sleep when necessary to read. I was looking forward to Mary and Bennie and the gang but Vicki and Reheema were a great, new, refreshing duo. Already looking forward to your next book, whenever that may be. Take care and keep writing. Your work is wonderful." M.B.
"Your best book yet. I couldn't put it down." H.W.
"Just finished reading Devil's Corner. Another winner! Keep 'em coming, girl!" GM

About Killer Smile
Congratulations on another great book! As with all your books, I couldn't put Killer Smile down once I started reading it. P.B.
I just finished Killer Smile. It was a wonderful and well written book. P.R.H.
Well, I've just finished 'Killer Smile', and you've done it again. This time, you've even thrown in a history lesson along with the story, always a plus for me. Another terrific, quick-reading (unfortunately) story filled with humor, surprises and action offset by characters so familiar by now that I fell I know them personally. D.G.
I just finished Killer Smile and I have to tell you that like all of your other books it was great as usual. Keep up the good work. J.B.
Again, you wrote a great read that I am recommending to friends. Can't wait till the movie! T.R.
Have just finished reading Killer Smile, and I have to say I think it is my favorite of all the novels you have written. Your Author's Note was also very moving and perhaps explains why this novel is so special. Thank you for enriching the life of this avid reader. A.
I just finished "Killer Smile" wow, another big winner. J.C.
I just finished Killer Smile and I REALLY liked it. It is one of your best! F.S.
About Dead Ringer
I just finished Dead Ringer in one sitting-once I started it I couldn't put it down. Great read--but than again all your books are. You are one of my favorites and have been for a long time. Nora Roberts is right you truly do rock. K.Z.
Lisa, Dead Ringer was the first of your novels that I have read. I have to say that I am now one of your newest fans. I am very choosy about writing style and I couldn't put this book down! One of the things I loved most was your sense of humor. I found myself laughing out loud. Keep it up! Also, I love the female dominated law firm. Can't wait to catch up on your other works. T.A.
Hello Lisa, Congradulations on another wonderful book! I just finished Dead Ringer and loved it. R.F.
Dear Lisa, You did it again! Another wonderful book that was impossible to put down! I can't wait for your next one. B.G.
LOVED the book! In fact, I cried at the very end, and I never cry at books. The ending was PERFECT! Lots of action, good story, great characters who let personal feelings show. M.K.
Loved the book! Absolutely loved the book. I guess I just really like your Bennie character the most of all but I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Ringer. It was incredibly topical with firms going under and massive class action lawsuits being the norm any more. You had everything nailed down in that regard. Extremely plausible. T.N.
Just finished your book tonight ( only bought it yesterday ) and it was great. I have read all of you books and can't wait for the next one. M.R.
Just finished Dead Ringer! Wow, great read, could not put it down. I am a big fan of Bennie and her Associates. M.S.
Hi Lisa, I've just gotta say, OH MY GOSH!!! What a terrific, sitting on the edge of your seat, book. I loved every minute of it and hated for it to end. Loved all the other books too and just bought oldies: Running From the Law and Final Appeal. H.B.
Just finished it this weekend. Loved it! Keep these great books coming. D.J.
Dear Lisa, Just wanted to let you that once again you had me going until the end. This was another one of your books to add to the collection. P.P.
Dead Ringer was dead on. It kept me guessing until the end. R.M.
You have once again out done yourself. Dead Ringer is just fantastic. I could not put it down. D.F.
Hi, Just finished "Dead Ringer" - could not put it down - read almost all night - best book I've read in a long, long time - loved David and Sam - even liked Alice. Just wanted you to know one fan's views. Keep up the good work P.E.
I just finished my ARC of Dead Ringer, and, as has been true with all of your books, I couldn't put it down. I was glad to see the return of Alice Connelly, in spite of her, shall we say, wickedness. She's a great character, and I hope that you continue to use her in future novels. B.B.
Lisa, I was lucky enough to read the advanced copy of Dead Ringer and all I can say is Wow! Edge-of-your-seat suspense, humor, and a great family story...what more could a person want from a book. Count me in for the next book, and every book after that. S.L.
About Courting Trouble
Hi, Just finished "Courting Trouble" - great read. Finished it in 1-1/2 days. I love your new character, - Anne (Anna) Murphy - and the fact that Bennie Rosato is adding a new member to her "girls only" law firm. Am waiting now for your next one out. P.E.
I hope you carry on with a Sequel using the Characters from your "Courting Trouble" novel. It was great. I loved how they played off of each others strengths and weaknesses. It was a faced paced roller-coaster ride from start to finish. Thanks again for the GREAT reading. N.H.
I just finished COURTING TROUBLE and it was terrific! I loved the sassy tone, and the story kept me engaged throughout. The "malocchio scene" in the DiNunzio kitchen was priceless... it took me right back to my grandmother's house. I could practically smell the gravy cooking on the stove! You even got the South Philly Italian decor just right - including the pictures of JFK and the pope! Thanks so much for the great read, and keep up the good work! J.M.
Lisa, Just in case you weren't sure, Courting Trouble is an awesome read. And what a twist at the end!!! J.M.
I just finished Courting Trouble and really enjoyed it! I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen on the next page, but at the same time, I didn't want the book to be over! Please bring Anne back for another visit in another book! Thanks for the wonderful reading material and keep up the good work! R.C.
I just finished reading "Courting Trouble." It was a truly a great book. It was well written and full of mystery and suspense. The characters were so true to life. I enjoyed your new character, Anne Murphy. I hope to be reading more about her in your future books. I have never written to an author before, but since I have read all your books and enjoyed them so, I decided it was time to let you know. R.M.
Just finished devouring your latest book after prying it out of my husband's hands. We have to flip a coin to see who gets to read the new Scottoline first, and we hate to finish each "new" book because we know it will be a wait for the next one. Thanks for writing about smart, fun, thinking women who are as real as my own friends. You have created a community that your readers can't wait to visit time and again. B.E.
GREAT BOOK - so much fun reading it , only problem is I went through it so fast. Couldn't put it down. I have just become a huge fan. This is my first Lisa Scottoline book , now I am going to get the others. One of the best books I have read in the last two years. M.S.
I just finished reading Courting Trouble last night and enjoyed it immensely. Your references to Italian-Americans bring back a lot of memories from my childhood T.M.
I just finished "Courting Trouble" and loved every minute of it!!!! I really enjoyed the humor, and the budding friendship within the law firm. C.M.
I recently finished reading "Courting Trouble," and I enjoyed it tremendously. It's another good read. J.W.
About The Vendetta Defense
Loved this book! Congratulations! Witty, engrossing, fast-paced, believable, in short -- everything you love in a book! C.R.
Lisa, wow, you've really topped yourself with the Vendetta Defense! I've read and liked all of your books, but this one stands apart. It is without question your best. I've always loved the old men, the warm and funny way you've made them real. You gave Pigeon Tony such depth and complexity, that he IS real, and he's wonderful. P.R.
Lisa, Just finish reading Vendetta Defense. Again, a great book. Judy was just outstanding and each chapter just kept me on the end of my seat. P.P.
Wow! And I thought the last one was your best.... Great book! M.M.
I love your books better than anyone I have ever read. I just finished Vendetta Defense It was wonderful and took me back to south Philly...Please never stop writing I can't wait for your next books... Thank for many wonderful hours. L.
I just finished The Vendetta Defense and loved it, as I do all your books. Thanks for another great adventure in the lives and office of Rosato and Associates! J.
Just finished Vendetta,it was the best yet. Would make a great movie. N.K.
I am and have always been an avid mystery reader and have never thought about writing to an author before let alone actually doing it, but here I am. I have read all your books - they have all made my laugh and cry and I have loved every one of them. In fact, if someone were to ask me for my favorite, I would be hard pressed to name just one. I hope you are writing your next Rosato and Associates novel. I can assure you, as in the past, that I will be the first one to buy it the day it is released. Keep up the good work and keep us laughing and crying. M.K.
It only took a few pages to know that I was going to love this book. What a wonderful concept. D.W.
I absolutely love your book. Your characters and your writing make reading your books my passion. The characters emotions are so real and so funny. Keep writing!!!!!!!!! A.
I just finished your book and I loved it! I was up 'til 3:00 AM because I couldn't put it down. J.K.
Hey, Scottoline! The best you've done to date. Couldn't put the damn thing down. Reminded me so of my Italian side, and all the great characters who peopled it. Keep 'em comin', will ya. E.C.
Hi Lisa, WOW, you did it again. Just finished the Vendetta Defense and want you to know that it is a real winner-- one of the best yet. I.V.
I have never written an author before but I just finished your new book and it was FANTASTIC! I'm going out now to buy ALL your other works and read until I drop. I just hate it when a good book ends. I wanted Judy and Pigeon Tony's story to keep on, even after it was finished in the courts. J.
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that The Vendetta Defense has become one of my all time favorites!! I read about a book a week with most of them being legal thrillers. I have to say that your book had such a combination of things going on that I couldn't put it down and was far better than any of the other legal thrillers that I had read in a long time. The conversations were so realistic and had me in stitches when reading theall the Italian dialog. Thanks again for some awesome entertainment. L.M.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, Lisa...thank you for continuing to write moving, funny, tight novels. D.B.
I have written to you before about how wonderful your books are. I just read Vendetta Defense, and it was great. I loved it. I have read every one of your books and now I am anxiously waiting for another one to read. You are just great. S.H.
About a year ago a librarian mentioned your books and I read one and was hooked. I whizzed through all of them. I was fortunate to get your latest, THE VENDETTA DEFENSE, this week and went through it in a day. Things didn't get done around my house. I have loved every one of your books and found this one to be even better. Please keep going. I will await the next one. A.T.
Well Lisa...You have done it again. I only wish I read slower so I could make your books last longer. Another winner on your hands with this book. But, I expect nothing less from such a great author. Keep up the good work..Your books are such a pleasure to read. M.D.
Lisa: Just finished Vendetta Defense and I loved it. This is the first of your books that I have read, but, I plan to pick up your other books as soon as I can. M.A.J.
I've read all of your books and enjoyed each and every one of them...waiting impatiently for the next one to come out. You've outdone yourself with 'The Vendetta Defense.' I couldn't put it down...the characters are so human and easy to relate to (especially for someone who married into an Italian family). You had just the right amount of humor interspersed with the serious subject of murder and the touching story of Pigeon Tony's courtship of his wife. I don't generally write to authors, rather appreciate them from afar, but felt the need to let you know how very much I enjoyed your book. I can't wait for the next one to come out!! T.
Just finished The Vendetta Defense. Thank you for the hours of great pleasure it brought me. I have read all of your books, loved them all, but I think this was my favorite. Of course I say that each time I finish one of your books. Please hurry and complete another splendid novel. Many, many thanks to you for a job well done. Reading is my favorite pastime and you've given me many hours of pleasure. Again, many, many thanks and keep up the great work. A.L.
This latest book I just finished last night, it was just great, I fell in love too with Pigeon Joe and all his Italian "goombahs"!! Your lady lawyer, Judy is great, I remember her from another book, also her boss and other characters too in the book. I also thought your comments and thanks at the end of the book were just so very nice including thanking us, the readers, very thoughtful, you seem to me like a very special person. I am not going to go on and on here, just saying again thanks for the great reading material and for making me laugh and almost cry and thoroughly passing a great evening with this book and others too. E.W.
All I can say is WOW. One of the best you have ever done. I have all your books and always look forward to the new ones. D.W.
Hi!
Just finished reading The Vendetta Defense and wanted to tell you I enjoyed it very much. You writing style is an easy read and the story was delightful. I look forward to the next one. Keep up the good work. C.J.
I just finished "Vendetta Defense" and it was wonderful! I must confess, I am a little in love with Pigeon Tony, Tony-from-down-the-block, Feet and Mr. DiNunzio. Your characters make me wish I had grown up in a "Neighborhood" instead of a neighborhood. I've enjoyed your other novels and hope you keep 'em coming for a long time. L.
About Moment of Truth
Lisa, Moment of Truth was the first I've read by you. Loved It. Keep up the good work. We need good writers like yourself. - B.B.
This is a great book! I loved all of it, especially Brinkley's relationship with Mary's family and his fixing the pilot light. What a marvelous detail. Also lovely was the relationship between Mary and her parents. Thanks for a great experience. - K.L.
I have never written to anyone in your position before, but I have just finished Moment of Truth and had to tell you to please keep writing about Mary DiNunzio and her family. Having been raised Catholic and Italian I can relate to her character. She makes me laugh out loud, whenever a book makes me cry or laugh, I know it is a really good read. Thanks for the joy of this latest book. - P.H.
I just finished the book entitled Moment of Truth. It was fabulous!!! I am an avid reader but it doesn't hurt me to put a book down to do whatever it is that I have to do. I can count the number of books on one hand that I couldn't put down until it was finished. Yours ranks number one! It not only held my attention, my emotions ran the gamut. That is a very hard thing to do in writing. You are a very talented writer. - T.D.
I am not in the habit of emailing authors, but I just had to this time. I just finished Moment of Truth and have to tell you that it is the best book that I have read in quite a long time...and I am an avid reader!! Every time that I thought I had everything figured out...you surprised me with a new twist!!! I couldn't put it down!! I anxiously await your next book and am recommending this one to all of my friends. I would love to see a sequel to this book...I really enjoyed the characters. Keep up the great writing...you are one of my favorite authors. - C.H.
I read your book in about 3 days...shucking off my household chores, kids and husband. It was a nice break, but now I have tons of laundry...oh well. I really enjoyed your book and wanted to tell you thank you for writing it so we non-lawyers could follow it. I've read some other legal thriller books and some I found extremely difficult to follow. Sometimes there's nothing like a good book to take you away for a while. - C.R.
I discovered your books about a year ago and have enjoyed your style and have recommended them to baby boomer mystery loving friends. I can always tell if a book is good if I want to know more about the characters... I did not want Moment of Truth to end. Hurry with your next book!! Mostly though you have motivated me to pursue my goals...You are a tribute to us baby boomer girls...Go Girl Go!!!! Finish the next book, and the next book...I want to be reading you the next 50 years... - M.F.
I am a first time reader with your latest title "Moment of Truth". I really liked the character, Mary, she was a persistent, likable, appealing character. I was totally surprised by the actual master manipulator, you had some interesting twists. I work with the public in the book business, and am highly recommending your books. Now I need to catch up on your previous titles. Keep up the wonderful writing!! - M.N.
Congratulations on another great book! Wonderful characterizations--how refreshing to find a heroine with reader identification. Mary doesn't leap tall buildings in a single bound; she doesn't always get it right the first time. Great sense of place, too. I enjoyed traveling the streets of Philadelphia with her. I'm looking forward to your next book. - R.B.
I don't normally write letters to authors I have read but I just finished Moment of Truth and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it as usual. I first discovered your books by accident several years ago when I saw Everywhere that Mary Went in the Library. The jacket looked intriguing so I took it home. I enjoyed it so much I had to have the others immediately and now wait anxiously for each new book to come out. I am an avid mystery reader and have been since I was a child cutting my reading teeth on Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie. I read a lot of today's mystery writers including John Grisham, Sue Grafton, Faye Kellerman, etc and find I enjoy your work the best. Please keep them coming. - M.L.W.
Another E-Mail from a MAJOR fan of yours. I just finished an autographed copy of "Moment" and I loved it - maybe your best yet!! - R.B.
About Mistaken Identity
First, Mistaken Identity was great! I am a great fan of Bennie's. Second, you're no John Grisham - you're better. I've read all of your books. I am grateful for the day I discovered my first gritty female mystery (Sue Grafton) because it led me to so many more. Keep up the good work. - M.B.
I just finished your latest book [Mistaken Identity], and I think it is wonderful. You kept me guessing right to the end. Since I was in Philadelphia last year for the Bouchercon, it was even more fun than usual because I knew lots of the locations. I'm glad too to see more of Mary. I think she is a great character. I also thought the cover was great. - J.C.
Ok, I'm about to take another adventure of yours, "Mistaken Identity". All the novels are adventures for me. Lisa, I just wanted to tell you that I am a "new" reader, if you will, I've known how to read but just have never taken the time to enjoy a book. When I'm reading the stories it doesn't seem like I'm reading. I feel that I'm seeing what's happening, watching it play out on television. You are a very good author, your words flow thru the pages so smoothly. I will continue the adventures with Marta Richter, Bennie Rosato, Grace Rossi, Rita Morrone, and my favorite, Mary DiNunzio. Please keep writing, I will be finished with "Mistaken Identity" in about a week (MAX!!) and I hate looking for books other than yours. It's a chance I would rather not take... - S.L.
What a thrill getting to e-mail you. I have read all of your books, including Mistaken Identity. As a matter of fact, I've read most of them at least twice. You have become my favorite author due to your humor, especially the one-liners, and the great storylines. - T.B.
I loved Mistaken Identity. I just finished the book this evening. It's wonderful. You really pushed Bennie this time. It was terrific to follow her through such an emotional experience....Please keep writing - I can hardly wait to see what you get Bennie involved with next!! - A.H.
What a wonderful talent! I discovered your latest, "Mistaken Identity" in the Denver airport and have devoured "Running from the Law" and "Rough Justice" in the last two weeks. Thanks for making my biweekly trips from Chicago to California so much more enjoyable. Benedetta is a wonderful character, funny, whip smart and so well drawn....Continued great success. - D.C.
Just a note to say what a great idea it was for excerpts to be available with Coca-Cola products. I was not aware of your writing subjects, and recently read the excerpt for Mistaken Identity. I'm hooked and look forward to reading to book, as well as your others. Best of luck on future work. - A new fan, L.E.
I've just proved that I can make chicken soup and Irish soda bread with a book in one hand. Thank you for a wonderful story - I couldn't have asked for a better snow storm companion. - P.D.
I LOVE your books. I am an avid reader and started reading your books by accident. I practically live in Brentano's in Liberty Place and the man behind the counter suggested one of your books. Then I had to go and get everyone of them....I am in the middle of Mistaken Identity and just love it. Keep up the good work. - L.M.
I LOVED your most recent book Mistaken Identity. I had never read any of your other books but I am now a devoted fan. I enjoyed the witty repartee between Bennie, Mary, Carrier and Lou. - L.M.
I just bought your book today from my local Barnes & Noble. I'm a new fan of your work. I discovered "Mistaken Identity" through the free excerpt that was inside a 12 pack of Diet Coke. I opened it at work and decided to read it. When I finished it, I was curious and decided to buy the book. I haven't read any further yet but I'm sure I'll enjoy it....Thanks for the chance to write. - R.G.
I've written you in the past to let you know how much I enjoy your writing. And I've already ordered MI and look forward to it arriving. So, you can imagine my delight when in our local newspaper I found an article about your book calling it a must read. I'm so happy for your success. And, I happy others are getting enjoyment out of your work. - L.W.
About Rough Justice
Lisa, you're LOTS better than a "female Grisham." I've been an attorney...and I can say with authority that you know your crafts well, both the law stuff and the writing stuff. I've met most of the people I've read in your books...They are alive in the pages of your books. Your humor is right on, too. I laughed aloud when I read page 338 of "Rough Justice" - 'and the moon in the seventh house.' Great stuff! - J.A.
I was just wondering if you had an email address about halfway through your book. When I finished it, I read your acknowledgments and realized you did. I just wanted to let you know I love your books! At this point, I have read only two: Legal Tender and Rough Justice, but I am now a fan! - T.N.
I just wanted to thank you for the good time I had last week-end reading "Legal Tender" and "Rough Justice". I couldn't put them down. Which, in a way, is not good, as I was supposed to study tax law. - S.W.
I am in the USAF stationed overseas for the holidays in support of the Bosnia-Herzogovina operation and recently found a copy of your book Rough Justice in the orderly room. Very enjoyable and look forward to finding some other works by you. - K.
I am a student of Nova University, school of law, and tonight you were in my class, Law and Popular Culture...I really enjoyed your visit. I have read your book, "Rough Justice". Let me tell you that once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. It is great!!! - N.M.
During a recent vacation, I happened to be browsing in a book store and came across a copy of your "ROUGH JUSTICE" novel. I finally got around to cracking the book last night and needless to say, with 14 inches of snow today in Rhode Island, a "day-off" from the regular grind of work, I spent a relaxing day polishing off your book. It is wonderfully written, moves quickly, has good character development and is thoroughly entertaining. I can't think of a better way to spend a "snowed-in" day. Keep up the good work. I'll have to get a hold of your other books and hope for lots more snow days. - J.C.
Thanks for giving us an avenue to communicate with you. I read ' Rough Justice' and literally couldn't put the book down! That was the hook for me. You're the best! Now reading 'Legal Tender' then 'Running from the Law.' I'm buying 2 books at a time 'cause I have a hard time finding you in bookstores. Have had to special order you twice! Keep on writing. Look forward to your latest! - A.L.
I stumbled on your book by accident at the store, and I wish I had found it sooner. I'm living in Okinawa, Japan because my husband is in the military, but before Japan, we were stationed in New Jersey. After just reading a few pages, I felt right at home. I really enjoyed reading about the Philadelphia area, it really made me feel a little closer to home, and it is so hard to find an intelligent legal thriller "starring" women. It will be 3 years before we get back to the states, but reading your books will probably make it feel like 3 weeks. Thank you so much for your hard work. - Sincerely, T.
I just finished reading "Rough Justice", and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the book. The plot was well thought out, and exciting to follow. In fact, I read it in about 18 hours (I did have to work, dang it!). This is the first of your books that I've read, but you can be assured that I'll look for and read the others now!...Anyway, now I'm gushing, and I hate that, so I'll close this letter just by saying again that I really enjoyed the book, and look forward to reading your other works. - S.
I just finished reading "Rough Justice." I loved it! I can't wait to get to the bookstore, (let's see, tomorrow is Saturday, no work, why not) to pick up your others. I read Rough Justice in four days which is no small feat for a full-time working mother of two and wife of one. I've always got a book going and read at least an hour a day, usually more. After dinner I get about a half hour of what is known at my house as "alone time" to unwind and re-energized. I choose to do this by locking myself in a room and loosing myself in a good book. I prefer legal thrillers. I got hooked on them through Grisham but there are many others just as good and I am always looking for more. This week I found one, a great one. From what was written about your previous books I am in for a great few weeks of reading. Thank you! After I spend a few thrilling days reading a good legal thriller I feel close to the author and many times I have wanted to thank the author, but, alas, never have. I am grateful for the mention of the website on the back cover of your book so that I could take this opportunity to send you a "thank you note." I look forward to reading your other books! - S.
I just finished Rough Justice, I really enjoyed! Being from the "Burbs" of Philly and spending many a summer days down at LBI...I felt I was watching the entire story unfold before my eyes. To be honest, I had never heard of you before...I have to admit the "female John Grisham caught my attention. After reading yours...John Grisham who? I was a nice break from the rigors of corporate America and gave me something to do while my wife studies for her CFP. Keep up the great job! - M.
I just finished Rough Justice and thought it was great. I literally could not put it down. I was caught reading it at work and am now in big trouble. But, no matter, it was worth it. Please keep writing. I look forward to your next book. - J.
Just read the novel "Rough Justice" and let me tell you I could not put it down. It's the best novel I have read in a very long time. I will be telling all my friends about your work. This is the first of your books that I have read but I will be buying your other novels and I'm sure they will be equally as good. I am a retired 61 year old grandmother of 8 and I read a lot of books during the year in between my volunteering and family activities. Keep up your good work. - H.
I read the book and wow! Where is the movie deal on this one? I am a new fan. I'm in law enforcement and worked around a lot of people who reminded me of the characters in your book. I found it very hard to stop reading it. Some of the places in the book had me laughing my ass off and some places I was on the edge of my seat. I'll be buying your other books for sure. Keep up the good work. - C.
I recently went to the local Food Lion Store to pick up a few things and once again found myself in the book section. I was very intrigued by what I read on the back cover of Rough Justice and decided to buy it. I am so glad that I did. It was such a great book, a pager tuner. ( I read half of the book in one day!! --had it not been for work, I'd probably read much more). I don't usually email people that I don't know, but I was looking in the back of the book for the names of other books that you may have written and saw your website address, so I figured I'd write and let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Also, I went back to Food Lion yesterday to look for another book of yours there. Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the others. Nevertheless, today, I will be going to Books A Million, the mall bookstore, or somewhere to buy another book. Since they are such great reads, probably two. - A Very Satisfied Reader
I am a middle/high school principal...and have very little time to read. When I picked up your novel during the Labor Day Weekend I wasn't sure what I was buying. After reading the first ten pages, I was engrossed and couldn't put the book down. It took me all of nine hours to read Rough Justice and I plan on reading it again to pick up what I might have missed during the first read..... I must admit that this is your only book that I have read, but I am already on the hunt for your other novels. - J.
What a great idea! To be able to interact with someone that I've been talking to anyway (as I'm reading your book), and now I'll know that you know another person out there as a faceless book buyer is enjoying your writing...I felt like reading something legal that would keep me excited about what was going to happen to the characters and I found it. My wife usually reads books in about a day and though it takes me a bit longer, with Rough Justice I find myself closing the gap! I'm glad you began writing instead of getting another job. This way we both (plus all of your readers) benefit. Thank you for sharing your talent. - R.
You have been described at "The Female John Grisham" and I must say that after reading your book Rough Justice I would have to agree. I am an avid reader of a lot of different authors and this is the first one that I came across that was yours. I have read all of John Grisham's books and plan on stopping by Barnes & Nobles to pick up your other 4 books tonight. - D.
I am only 124 pages into "Rough Justice" and it is one of the best books I've ever read! I'm going to have to go out and get all your others and read them too. Your writing is funny, breathless and intelligent, and I expect to be waiting with baited breath for each of your new novels as the years go by. I am so glad to have found your work! - D.
Just wanted you to know I really enjoyed your book Rough Justice, and from the day I bought it, which was Monday this week, I could not put it down until I found out how Marta came out in the end. I really enjoyed it. James Patterson writes sort of like you do, fast paced, good descriptive reflections and detail, and hard to put down. Thanks. - G & B
All your books are great! Especially "Rough Justice" Just thought I'd tell you! - T.
The suspense throughout "Rough Justice" was intense....It was the first time I read one of your novels. I have already ordered "Final Appeal" from Amazon.com and can't wait to receive it....Thanks for the hours you stimulated my imagination. - E.
I just finished reading Rough Justice last night and I loved it. I think that it would make a great movie and that it has definite cinematic possibilities. I love law and can't wait to get to law school and reach my goal. I think that you did a great job with Rough Justice and I hope to check out more of you titles. - R.
Hi! I am a 15 year old girl from Alabama. I was at the store one day and, since I love to read, I begged my mom to let me get a new book. She agreed so I went searching. My favorite types of books are legal thrillers, and I had "Rough Justice" and another book picked out, but I couldn't decide. Then I noticed the quote from People magazine that called you "the female John Grisham." So I bought "Rough Justice" and began reading it as soon as I got home. It took me about 3 days, since I had to find time in between homework and gymnastics. But let me tell you, I was dying to finish it. It is a truly amazing book, and I am now an avid fan. I can't wait to get my hands on your other four books. You are now my favorite writer. - Q.T.
Lisa, Let me start by saying it is very intimidating to be writing to an accomplished author. But I've just finished reading Rough Justice, and I wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed all of your books. I love reading mysteries, and yours are among the best I have read. I just get lost in your books and have a tough time putting them down. Sometimes this gets me in trouble as other things get neglected....Thank you so much for your books, please keep up the wonderful work. I'll be looking forward to reading Mistaken Identity! - K.
Just finished your book Rough Justice and want to give you a standing ovation for it. I am an avid reader (about a book every 2 days), but have somehow never gotten hold of your books, but will make it a point to look for them now. It was so great to read about women who had common sense that functioned in the ordinary world....Loved your characters!! Thanks for the book! - J.
