Letter From Lisa Behind the Scenes Cause For Celebration Audio Alert Coming Up! On the Road Scottoline.com Fun |
My Friends,
Happy Holidays! Family, good food and a few laughs (sounds like one of my books!) is what the holidays bring for me, and I wish the same for you and your loved ones. I have a whole lot to be thankful for this holiday season, as this year's publication of Dead Ringer marked my tenth novel in ten years, and a decade long relationship with you, my fellow book-loving enthusiasts. Thanks to you and your dedication to me as an author and a friend I have seen ten years' worth of dreams come true.
I am humbled and grateful to each and every one of you for taking a chance on me and my books. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and your homes, and for recommending my books to your loved ones. Most of all, thank you for sharing your own stories with me. I look forward to hitting the road each year on book tour, not for the swanky hotels, but for your friendly faces, and warm hugs that greet me at every stop. I feel incredibly lucky to call so many of you true friends, and I am always looking forward to meeting new people. And I believe that loyalty deserves to be rewarded which is why I work hard all year to write the best book I can, and to come up with ways to say thanks through actions rather than just words. That is the premise behind both my tote bag promotion and my free paperback with pre-order promotion. Be sure to look for both again with next year's publication of Killer Smile. During this holiday season, I will be reflecting on a fun-filled, successful ten years, and wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and friendship, and ask that you continue to email me with all your thoughts at lisa@scottoline.com. So eat, drink, read, and be merry! With lots of love and a huge hug, Lisa |
