A Fun, Fearless Female Innovator!
Lisa has had an exciting year already. In February, Cosmopolitan magazine named Lisa one of its Fun, Fearless Females of 2004, for being a woman of the arts who embodies the spirit of independence. She shared the honor with celebrities such as Alicia Silverstone, Sofia Coppola, Lucy Liu, Holly Hunter, Ashanti, Diane Lane, and "Fun Fearless Male," Matthew Perry. Lisa had to break out her glitziest party dress for a very swanky awards luncheon held in Manhattan. But, that's not Lisa's only recent honor. A few weeks ago, Publishers Weekly the industry's most influential trade magazine also gave special recognition to Lisa by naming her a Publishers Weekly Innovator. This distinction is granted to only a handful of terrific authors-most recently Janet Evanovich and Dennis Lehane-based on the quality of their books and increasing success.
